Week 1 -Task


Cross - Disciplinary
  • Considering multiple disciplines when planning for and delivering instruction so that the learner understands concepts from multiple perspectives and makes natural connections between disciplines.


Inter - Disciplinary
  • An art form that crosses two or more disciplines to create a new work. For example, a project that contains elements of visual arts, media and performance art might be interdisciplinary.

Trans-disciplinary
  • Multiple disciplines work together in the initial assessment, but pro-vision of services is provided by one or two team members.

Qualitative Research
  • A body of research techniques which seeks insights through loosely structured, mainly verbal data rather than measurements. Analysis is interpretative, subjective, impressionistic, and diagnostic.

Ethnographic Studies
  • (ethnographic study) In-depth study of a culture, which uses a combination of methods including participant observation.
